So not only does he make bad decisions on the court, he makes bad decisions off the court. SHOCKER.

It was neutral at best. I doubt this does that much to it.
I didn’t think he would be traded this year unless his salary was needed anyway.

Agreed, it is one of the most avoidable situations when you are wealthy. Hell, as long as you aren't struggling, Uber is not that difficult to call. And in Graham's case, the guy probably already has some sort of personal staff or people he could call through his agency.

I don't understand how this happens to pro athletes.
For regular people, I somewhat understand, as people may be reluctant to pay $30-$40 for an Uber, so they try to convince themselves that they're actually sober.
For an active NBA player, NFL, etc. There is no way in the world that $40 would even affect you.

I don't understand how anyone drives drunk. It is not only dumb it is selfish. It isn't a "mistake", it is an intentional selfish decision to drive drunk.

If I’m not mistaken also, the NBA has a program where you call them and they’ll get you a ride for any of the players.
Or that could be the NFL, not sure

NBA does have that but idk if that’s just in cities where NBA teams are located. Might not be able to use it in Raleigh

People tend to make irrational decisions drunk.

All I got is transporting drugs in the car that you don't want to use rideshare for

Graham was stopped for going 63 mph in a 40 mph zone, and troopers suspected that he was impaired. He recorded a .11 blood alcohol concentration. (In North Carolina, anything above .08 is illegal.)

NFL has it too - was in a group with NFL player for Mardi Gras and it was great - even got to pass blocked streets.

Hell call a homie. All these players usually have troupes that they most likely buy stuff for and bring on vacations. Call them to come pick you up. Pay a loyal family member or friend very well to basically drive you around. Anything but drive drunk. Is there anyway we can squeak out of this deal if he does jail time or is suspended long term?

This doesn't seem like a big deal. It could have been one of our starters or key second line guys; it wasn't.
It didn't hurt nor help Graham, though. It will carry, maybe, a two to three game suspension.
I just don't think it is big deal in the grand scheme of things.
