And they will make way more money.
Nothing the Big Ten does will stop the SEC from steamrolling them in every facet of college football.
We're 20 steps ahead of y'all at this point. Congrats on a shiny TV market, and some has-been programs.

Clay Travis saved football in 2020 - never forget
Clay Travis is the biggest loser in sports media by a pretty wide margin.
What's funnier is seeing his fake conservative persona attract exactly who he intends it to attract.
He doesn't actually like you people, nor does he hold any of the beliefs he preaches on twitter.

Who watches is irrelevant. It’s people living in No Cal having to buy the Bug ten network in their cable buys.

Conferences adding teams based on TV markets is old news.
Weird thing to whine about.

Aside from the fact that USC and UCLA are historic football powers and carry a lot of prestige.
This isn't the same as adding Rutgers and Maryland.

Adding UCLA weakens the Big 10

Good times.

B1G already has the most lucrative media rights deal. They are now negotiating a new one that was already said to eclipse $1 billion per year. Adding these two schools will increase that number and their bargaining power substantially.

With this kind of money on the table, why in the world does it have to make geographic sense? Big 10 now has markets 2 and 3, and they've got the closest schools to #1.

Wait till the fox big 10 kick off is at 9 am west coast time it going to be great to get that audience for the big games. This is a joke. UCLA and USC playing in the big house at the end of November. Westcoast kids are going to love that.

Just do some basic research on the Big Ten’s media deals. The conference was already going to set records before this announcement.
The PAC 12 reporter that initially broke the news today said the expectation is this move could put Big Ten schools north of $100 million per year. That would blow previous records out of the water.

Im locked in with F1 at 7 AM with a nice coffee in my hand, is it really so bad to watch football at 9AM with a coffee and then a beer around halftime?

I watched it earlier than that in Hawai'i. Thought it was awesome.
