I posted in another thread that if LSU gets the guys they're expecting to and nabs a few of the guys Fong says they're trending for, they'll likely finish with a top 3-4 ranked class. Give it time, it's June.

Football recruiting is a different animal due to its timeline. That said, LSU is about to have a run on commitments over the next several days. You folks really need to simply be patient.

My working theory is that CBB is years behind in NIL demand. JJ can throw around some cash and the allure and prestige of LSU and it works.
FB NIL has set the market way higher than baseball. Also FB is king and every SEC school is driving that market up higher via bidding wars.
I think the amount of money to reel in a top 5 class in FB these days is way higher than some may believe. And LSU can likely afford it but they are probably asking if they can afford it year in and year out.
