Even with Framber starting and the Mets throwing a RHP, leave it to the Idiot to be the Idiot

I'm sure the Idiot will find a way to pitch to Alonso late in the game with first open in a game deciding situation.

Christian Walker has one of the weirdest stat lines I've ever seen hitting .206/.307/.478 but only striking out 19% of the time. His BABIP is .184, his expected batting average based on statcast is .275. An upgrade over Yuli even at his current numbers and a bounceback is in order for sure

He is under control until 2025... that would be a nice snag, but likely a high price tag.

I think he will have value no matter what this year a bench bat who can provide a quality AB pinch hitting for Maldy or whoever. And maybe he gets hot late in the year.

I think no matter what we should be looking at guys who can spell him and provide depth though. With the rest days you know him and a new acquisition will get plenty of opportunities to show who deserves the ABs in October and it just lengthens the bench. Unlike CF or C there’s several options for this

I mean, they don't have Walker blocking a top prospect since Beer is really just a DH. If they had an interest in Matejevic, you could make a deal pretty easily.

If they'd take Matijevic and Urquidy that's a deal that can't be made fast enough... but I don't see it happening.

I do not think they would trade Urquidy for a guy like that nor should they or need to

It least have some imagine Dusty, and bat Tucker 4th. Bregman doesn't deserve to be batting clean up.

Excited to see Jake keep getting ABs…wish he didn’t have such a black hole behind him so he could see some better pitches to hit. Bregman has been awful with RISP this year so him batting cleanup is laughable.

I'd give up Urquidy before Hunter Brown, who is going to be every trade partner's first ask.

There are a lot of guys I’d give up before both. Don’t think anyone is gonna be expecting a top 100 type in a trade like that. If a team wants that much that’s a player that obviously isn’t getting traded

Well... yeah. I just don't think Walker is going to be a cheap trade target with 2+ seasons of control.

He batted Yordan and Tucker back to back a few days. Then Yordan tweaked his hand and Brantley is hurt. I guess Baker figures it’s because he batted Yordan and Tucker back to back so he went back to LRLR …

Just hard to figure out stupid so that’s the best explanation I have.

What is this scoring a run without a homer nonsense? Stringing hits together? Not my 2022 Astros
