Bingo. It's funny all the people bragging about how their company supports abortion rights.
No princess, it's cheaper to hoover your fetus out and keep you working.

Why, it is still available under 15 weeks?

We all are feeling the effects of inflation, etc., but I at this point in time do not know anyone that needs an abortion. It is just amazing what goes to the top of the list of things to worry about these days.

I believe Texas has a trigger law that goes into effect 30 days after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade that bans abortions from the moment of fertilization.

Well since they can’t define what a woman is, then my fat arse identifies as a pregnant lady needing an all expenses paid trip to a nice Rocky Mountain abortion resort

In what way?
This is all theatre.

It really is, it’s emotional HRing like everything else we’ve seen over the last 5 or so years
Seriously, what % of your workforce is actually getting abortions each year?
And those that do, how many will actually want to speak up and tell HR to get “reimbursed” instead of just being an adult and traveling and handling such a personal matter on their own?
I’m also curious if there are caps on these, how will an employee be judged if she’s getting an abortion travel credit every year

Will pay for employees out of state travel who want an abortion. How can this backfire?
It won't backfire. No one gives a shite.
Also, let's just wait and see the fine print on all this corporate abortion subsidizing bullshite we see going on right now.
I can promise you, some of this shite is strictly for show. Just wait until some dumb bitch puts this shite to the test and finds out she has to fill out some long form that goes through three levels of HR, her immediate supervisor, her department manager and then on to the executive level for final approval.
And then after all that, she finds out the actual reimbursement is half of what she thought it would be.
Just sit and watch the melts. They're coming.

think of the money they'd save if they just didn't hire women at all.

i am curious however who they think this will attract talent wise
also if I’m Cali, NY, CO i’m forcing my tourism department to work over time to get out some new brochures and commercials ASAP.
“Come visit the Big Apple. See a play at Broadway Theatre, check out lady Liberty, have a slice of genuine NY style pizza, and kill that unborn child that’s being a nuisance to your whorish ways”

It's beyond disgusting, but like yall are saying, smart business decision. Cheaper than paid maternity leave.

How many people in their workforce do they think are in a position to have an abortion? This is a low cost publicity stunt. Wait until someone figures out how to use this for a long weekend with their spouse with hotel and flights paid for.

Good for them, not seeing an issue with this business decision
Posted on 6/27/22 at 10:19 am to bad93ex
I wonder if ‘health care’ means exactly that. If I want to fly to Cali and see Dr Pimple Popper, my employer is footing the travel bill? Will they get caught for false advertisement?

Just wait until one of these abortions goes wrong and the mother dies and her family sues the shite out of the company that encouraged her procedure. I'll give this policy lasting a year at best

I wonder what the tax implications are for an employee who enjoys a $10k abortion vacation on the company’s dime.
