Five major US cities on pace to pass steep 2021 homicide totals halfway through 2022

LINK

Five major U.S. cities are currently on pace to break their homicide totals from last year, continuing a violent trend that started in 2020.

Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Milwaukee, and Atlanta have all seen homicide numbers outpace their mark from 2021 halfway through this year, with Milwaukee seeing the largest spike of the group, according to crime data reviewed by Fox News. Wisconsin's largest city has recorded 96 homicides as of June 17 compared to 77 at this time a year ago, a 24.7% increase.

Actually it would be helpful if these activist judges and DA's gave a shite about enforcing the laws we have.

Those are rookie numbers. Pretty sure New Orleans already has more this year than it's entire 2021 total.

When did Milwaukee get so bad? Take Milwaukee out an replace them with Detroit and the list would have been the same during the 90s. Its the only city on the list where the majority race is white. Interesting that white and hispanics love living their, blacks not so much.

80% of Black respondents rated the city "fair" or "poor" in a Suffolk University poll, compared with more than half the white and Hispanic people polled said the city is “excellent” or “good."

quote:

Wisconsin has one of the highest rates of incarceration of Black men in the nation, and has the widest achievement gap between Black and white students.

Milwaukee ranks near the bottom of the nation's cities for percentage of Black residents earning $40,000 or more a year.

We have been labeled as one of the worst places to raise a Black child.

26% of Black residents live in neighborhoods defined as having concentrated poverty.

Only 27.8% of Black residents own their own homes, which is worse than 50 years ago.

Homicides hit a record in 2020 and the violence has continued this year.

Car thefts are up 193% for the year, and we have already passed 2020’s total.

Democrats gas light Crime during the presidental election cycle. They normalized this behavior and weakened the police. This was an incredibly foolish thing to do for entirely political/selfish enrichment. Unfortunately it will only going get much worse as we dive deep into a Biden recession.
