Irony in the medical profession

Isn’t it ironic that a profession so esteemed as doctors puts out a shite-ton of Mengeles? Isn’t this profession supposed to be filled with caring and compassionate people who are the brightest amongst us? But instead we have mentally ill Mengeles who specialize in legal genital mutilation, double mastectomies, and infanticide normally by means of full body mutilation. It can’t just be about the corruption of money. How much more corrupt can it get with a profession set apart to “help” people?

I know a handful of MDs. Not a single one of them is down with the tranny bullshite, particularly where kids are concerned. And I would describe about half of them center-left politically.
I think it's like the general population. There is a relatively small but very vocal minority that has worked its way into positions of influence, and then hoards of others that are too chickenshit to shut them down. Just like the "silent majority" that you and I belong to.

Because while it attracts good people it also attracts people that value status & money first and foremost and those types of people are generally pieces of shite.

You left out my favorite. There are about 1 or 2 people a year who go to a surgeon asking for their totally healthy leg to be amputated. Why? Because they've always wanted to be a cripple. This is not a joke. So far, the medical community has not complied. And some of the patients attempted the surgery themselves. It did not go well.

That doesn't happen. That's a bunch of bullshite and you need to get your frickin' head out of twitter or whatever the frick else has you convinced of that.
There are quacks and incompetent doctors in the medical field but there aren't a "shite ton" of them, in fact no where close. The vast, overwhelming majority of physicians in the country are reasonable, competent people.
The types you're describing exist in such small numbers, that if not for social media and smoothed brained discussion forums, you likely wouldn't know about them.
I've spent my professional life working with physicians of all stripes and the only quacks I've ever encountered worked in psychiatry and there were only a handful of those.
Your garden variety, American educated physician would probably be one of the most intelligent and level headed people you know. My guess is you don't know many.

It's just like any situation where there are leadership groups. Think Washington dc, think labor unions, think the board of directors at corporations.
The national groups that lead these doctors become totalitarian leftists, advocating for sex change, socialism, and gun control.

Frontline medical professionals have changed a lot the past 60-70 years. When my mother went to nursing school in the 40’s the medical universities/institutions were nearly all affiliated to some religious denomination, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, etc. In those times I would guesstimate +80% of nurses and doctors were fairly devout Christians. It was more of a calling than a profession…..completely flip flopped over the past 50 years.

The medical profession is, like all things, a product of our society. Decades ago we were still a Christian society with a definitive Spence of right and wrong, in short a bedrock moral foundation.
We cast that aside though. We have forsaken our Christian moral foundation. Now there is no concrete right and wrong. Instead right and wrong is at the whims of whatever a person “feels”.
We’ve done this to ourselves. We’ve made our bed. We’ve rejected God and now he’s allowing us to live with the consequences of our decision. God have mercy on us. We’re gonna need it.

OK - reality check.
I’d like to see most of you a-holes go to college and major in biology or another science. If you get good enough grades, you might get accepted to medical school. Then you have 4 more years of rigorous study, labs, and if you survive that, clinical rotations. When you graduate and become an intern/resident, the fun really starts. Long days, long nights, on call. If you’re married, your wife and family seldom see you. You miss T ball games and recitals because of your schedule. Want to specialize? Add 2-4 more years of training. During training, your “salary” is pretty much of a stipend. You don’t start making money until you go into practice, and then you have to take out a mega loan if you want to buy in to an established practice.
Then, the U.S. government, aka Medicare etc, tells you what you can prescribe, what tests you can order to make a diagnosis, and what you can charge for a procedure.
Spout off all you want. Just be a little more fricking informed.

There is a big difference in “academic medicine” and “clinical medicine”.
Unfortunately, academic medicine controls the government, controls the media narrative, and controls the “CDC recommendations”.
In clinical medicine, we just care about taking the best care of our patients. We don’t engage in politics because we don’t have time.
It’s probably similar for teachers and nurses. The good ones don’t have a voice because they are just doing a great job.
The ones who don’t care about patients or don’t care about students go out of their way to be “vocal” and in your face.
Find you a teacher/school system and a medical clinic that roll their eyes and shake their head at the “current trends”.
Then you will be satisfied.

People who seek gender affirming care, hormones or surgery, have to do extensive mental health evaluations. It’s not as easy as walking in to a doctors office and asking for it.
Also, insurance doesn’t cover most of their care. But you idiots are sky screaming about the trannies without any knowledge about it.
