frick Joe Biden. Most useless dipshit President in modern American history.

I made the huge mistake of checking it yesterday. I fricking hate Joe Biden.

it's as ugly as the administration

This is why I currently put almost nothing into it. I have no need to while the market crashes and I have tons of earning potential left. I’ll take every last dime I make.

Nope, haven't since the Tater was installed. I read enough posts to know I'd better not.

I used to check it daily, now I check it maybe twice a week because all Biden is doing is bankrupting us of years of work.
frick Joe Biden. frick his entire administration. frick career politicians.

I may not check it again until 2025

My only solace is that I have ~30 years left in the workforce.
Last time things were this bad it lead to 8 years of Reagan and 4 years of Bush Sr. So maybe we'll get 4 years of Trump and 8 years of Desantis and actually make money.

No. I have 30+ years left to work. If I look, I'll definitely quit putting in.
I know myself well enough. I know it's ugly. I won't be able to force myself to stay in.

Charles Krauthamer got it right: If you get your politics wrong, it ALL goes bad from there”.

Leaving my current job for a position with a new company at the end of the summer. I’ll look at it my last day in the office when I try to figure out what to do with it….. maybe.

Used to check it at every market close, had to stop as my monitors have run out of red pixels.

Just did out of morbid curiosity for the first time in at least a couple of months.
Yeah, I shouldn’t have done that.
Yeah, I shouldn’t have done that.

I hate JB as much as anyone but how is giving out helicopter money and shutting down the economy his fault?
This started with QE after 2008 and went parabolic under Trump.
What am I missing?

Let's review Madcow's article:
MSNBC
MSNBC
quote:
Trump spent years operating from the assumption that Wall Street was a direct reflection of the American presidency — and upturns were proof of Oval Office excellence. That never made any sense, but as the major indexes reach new heights under Biden, I'll look forward to the explanation as to why the stock markets are no longer politically relevant.

I was smart enough to get out in 2008. You people can watch your money disappear. Fool me once.

I avoid unrealized losses by not even looking at them, making them literally "unrealized."

Why don't you keep contributing and buy low?or put it in a stable asset fund until things start to turn around. This is a buying opportunity
