The replies are golden.

Celsius was mentioned quite a bit around here whenever someone would ask “I’ve got $X,000 to park for up to a year, what should I do with it?”

has anyone checked on Rocket31? He was knighting for this stuff pretty hard and said we're all morons for not having all of our cash in this when it's a guaranteed 10% return.

ETA:

Binance halts bitcoin withdrawals

quote:

Binance said Monday that it is temporarily pausing bitcoin withdrawals “due to a stuck transaction causing a backlog.”

At first, Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao said in a tweet that the issue would be fixed within 30 minutes. But he later amended that to say, “Likely this is going to take a bit longer to fix than my initial estimate.”

Binance is the world’s largest crypto exchange. The company handles spot trading volumes of more than $14 billion and nearly $50 billion in derivatives volume in a single day, according to data from CoinGecko.

More cloud cover for the crypto world.

Makes it more questionable as a currency.

The celcius issue aside, why would anyone accept a currency that is as volatile as bitcoin or Ephereum much less the other lesser known coins?

You sell your car today for agreed $25,000 and by the time you convert to USD, the coin is worth 10% less! You just lost $2,500 on exchange rate alone!

A nephew made millions on crypto, but got in very early. Hope he took his profit while the getting was good.

I we only had a crystal ball!

I had some eth in a coinbase account, but sold after watching that Line Goes Up youtube video as well as coffeezillas channel, a lot of these "projects" are basically just frickin ponzi schemes. Scamming and rugpulls in the crypto space is giving the entire industry a pretty big black eye. It definitely needs regulation.

Unless it's a glitch, I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

I was ridiculed not long ago because I didn't jump on the "zero risk" free money train.
