Some Republicans lie, just like the democrats. I called Cornyn's office and his aide assured me that all I was hearing about the Senator caving on gun control was false. The Senator had no intention of giving in.

When I heard the rumor Cornyn was retiring and not running when his term was up, I sensed he was setting us up for betrayal.

I wonder how much they greased his palms?

But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty once lost is lost forever. When the People once surrender their share in the Legislature, and their Right of defending the Limitations upon the Government, and of resisting every Encroachment upon them, they can never regain it. Letter from John Adams to Abigail Adams, 7 July 1775

Blunt is retiring and he’s a known DC Sewer Rat….I’m encouraged Hawley has held firm to America First principles, until proven otherwise Hawley’s pretty solid.

Cornyn along with shield Jackson lee in the house sponsored the junteenth holiday bill. Even Cassidy isn't that bad.

If by regroup you mean 95% of them need to pack their shite and go home and be replaced by some construction company owners and farmers, then, yes, let the regrouping begin.

There are millions of Americans who think career politicians are better for Americans than people who entered politics to correct the career politicians frick ups.

I’m thinking Cassidy wants to make his seat look as vulnerable as possible to make it look as enticing as possible to Garret…so he can run for Governor and avoid Graves being a candidate.

Most of the conservatives I know send their kids to private schools with plenty of security or home school them. They would never allow their kids to be indoctrinated in the current public socialist education system.

So two people from Texas made a Texas holiday a national one. There are a lot of things to be pissed about, this isn't one of them.

Cornyn tweeted this-- This agreement will provide schools the resources they need to enhance security and keep our children safe. It will invest in mental health programs to support communities and schools. And, it will not infringe on the rights of law-abiding gun owners.

The tragedies in Uvalde and elsewhere cried out for action. I worked closely with my colleagues to find an agreement to protect our communities from violence while also protecting law-abiding Texans’ right to bear arms.

Someone tells Cornyn it's not clear if proposals would have even prevented Uvalde shooting. His response. --Enhanced background check of juvenile court, police, and mental health records likely would have disclosed what everyone in the community knew. The shooter was a ticking time bomb.

You anti progressive government ticking time bombs are too dangerous to have the privilege of owning a firearm.

Huh? How big do you imagine an area needs to be in order to have private schools?

You can’t have private schools without kids to go to them
