Look at all those cucks lined up to dick ride.

That is the best way of putting it. The people who go to games as a social event instead of actually watching the game. Non conference football games are the absolute worst when it comes to that.

LSURussian supports the stony brook victory lap

We just ended your season and are taking up your hotel rooms in Omaha.
Put her there (handshake extended).
Appreciate the sportsmanship spirit but that was over the top.

I’d like our fan base to go back to being feared and ruthless. We grew up with piss balloon stories and burning the stupid tiger tail auburn van. The old box still had a lot of intimidation that I just don’t see in the new one.
The old box was wild, especially the outfield. Those fans were ruthless to the visiting players.
The things said would definitely result in cancellations and Facebook outrage

3rd base bleacher creatures, left field lunatics, bullpen bullies, coins corner all dead in new box.

We certainly liked to pat ourselves on the back for how great we were too.

I've never understood the people who crap on that gesture of sportsmanship. Sure, cheering for a Tiger victory is the best, but I can't see any harm in the Stony Brook lap. They had just come into a legendary ballpark and defeated a legendary program. That's a pretty amazing moment for those kids and for their program, and for the LSU fans to have the realization of how big that moment was for those kids and for them to be willing to applaud a profound moment ... I see no wrong in that.
I cheer for the Tigers first and always, but I can tip my hat and occasionally even clap for the accomplishments of others when they've earned it. Stony Brook earned it.

All my life I shut off the competitiveness when the games ended and I congratulated my opponent if he won. That’s called sportsmanship. It’s something everyone should do, but some people are too insecure to do. I’d bet they are the same people who are “embarrassed” by it.

frick every si gel one of the LSU fans that allowed the victory lap to happen
That was the end of LSU’s baseball greatness

I am all for being classy, but this was morbidly embarrassing to witness as a fan.

I understand where you’re coming from but that Stoney Brook team had 7 guys taken in the draft that year. They weren’t your average school that got hot. They were legit with legitimate MLB prospects and we knew that going in. In terms of how special it was for those players I’m getting sure getting drafted in the top 15 rounds was just as special.
How do you think our guys felt when they saw their own fans giving a victory lap to the team that just ended some of their careers?

Because it wasn't a gesture of sportsmanship, that would come from the players. This was a look at me moment from the fans.
And a moment that essentially spat in the face of our own players whose seasons and careers had just ended. They had to sit there and watch these oblivious morons have a parade for the opponent after just playing their hearts out for said morons. It was insulting to our own players and a false gesture at best.

What a frickin joke! You don't give the opponent a frickin victory lap in your venue from your fans. Dumbest shite I have ever seen

Exactly. Not to mention they were doing it for a Stony Brook lineup that had more guys drafted in the Top 15 rounds than most, teams in the SEC had that year. The fact that they wore Stoney Brook on their chest and not (insert any P5) means nothing and the victory lap was a joke.

Should have been around an empty park. Congratulating a team that beat you.... frick that.

For a bit of perspective, here's the Rant thread about the victory lap in real time from 6/10/12.
LINK
Seems like a LOT more people were perfectly ok with it then than they are a decade later. However, ProjectP2294 has never waivered in his opinion
