The day the box died
It is now a bottom half sec venue arguable that it is slipping out of being top 10.
Also the atmosphere is dead, ECU has the Texas coach whining about having to play there. The box doesn’t do that to anyone anymore.

It ties back to the lap LSU fans gave UNC Wilmington after the 2003 regional when they played LSU really tough on Sunday. The difference is LSU WON against them in 2003 and LSU fans loved seeing a scrappy nobody team compete hard.
Fast forward to 2012 and some LSU baseball fans who love telling everyone how great of a fan they are decided to do it again for a scrappy nobody team. Except this time that team had beaten LSU.
It was probably the same dumbasses who after LSU beat Oregon State in a tough final regional game the week before asked some Oregon State players who were walking off the field to get the team and do a lap around the field. This happened down the right field line near 1st base. The same place that Stony Brook picture was taken.
The Oregon State players looked at the LSU fans like the LSU fans were retarded. Oregon State players were like wtf we’ve recently won back to back nattys and you want us to take a victory lap after losing. It was hilarious and I have people who can back me up on this story.

Yea while shitty and sucking getting swept in the regular season isn’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
Paul collapsing at home vs FSU is embarrassing and so was failing to beat Houston in our own regional.
Still getting arse pounded by stony brook and then giving them a victory lap tops it all.

I remember this happening as well. The unc w lap, for being scrappy and I want to say if memory serves me correct they eliminated Tulane.
