That they shouldn't have.

Earliest memory I have is Jaws and The Town That Dreaded Sundown. Both scared the hell out of me.

Anyone else with cool parents?

My aunt took me to see scary movie when I was 10

When my moms friends told her it was rated R she went off on my aunt

I honestly had no idea what it was about.

Beavis and Butthead Do America when I was 10
Jurassic Park when I was 7. I probably watched 1/2 the movie looking through my hands

Mom (no pics) took my brother and I to see Empire Strikes Back as a reward for going to Charleston with her on a day trip for work.

I was older, 17 or 18 but sat through Eyes Wide Shut at the theater with my parents. Most awkward experience of my life.

The first movie I remember going to was Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid at a drive in.

I can remember being like 4 or 5 years old and my dad renting Saving Private Ryan and not fast forwarding through the Omaha Beach scene.

Family of 6, we didn't go out to the movies or out to eat much.

I'm really going to show my age with this post. Parents took me to see "The Graduate".

Jaws when I was 3. We spent every weekend on Ship island. I didn't touch the water all summer and begged them to get out every time they got in.

Move - Jaws

TV show - Kolchak: The Night Stalker

The Night Stalker had more messed up than Jaws. Mostly because sharks weren't that big of a treat in central Mississippi.

Dad took me to see “Slapshot” and swore me to secrecy not to tell my Mom or sisters. First movie boobs for me when I was about 10 years old.

The Longest Day
At a drive-in
In the pouring rain

It’s the longest movie I never saw - seems like we were there forever.

(Sorry, Daddy. Love & miss you!)

Spaceballs

Funny as hell but incredibly vulgar for a PG movie considering how old we were.

A few years after that would be Total Recall, which was my first R rated movie in the theater IIRC.

Not counted - Me getting dropped off to see Natural Born Killers, underage, without them buying the ticket for me. Thankfully they sold me the ticket instead of forcing me to buy one for In The Army Now and theater hop.
