Nothing like being a 11 year old and seeing your first boob live in a theatre with your mom. I can relate

My parents didn't "take" us (my dad would drop us off at the old school local one screen theater), but we went to see a zombie movie - It may have been Night of the Living Dead. We were 12-14 and wanted to scare my younger cousin. I don't remember if it scared him, but I didn't sleep good for a few days.

Signs the night before I started middle school. Could not sleep worth a damn. Scared of every little noise. Plus my brother came with us, he was starting 4th grade the next day. Lol

Lifeforce when I was about 10. It was an 80’s sci-fi movie.

Mom took me to see The 10 Commandments staring Charlton Heston. This was late 50's early 60's. Dad took me to see Bull Halsey staring James Cagney...Dad was a retired Navy Commander. This was mid 60's.

Edit. Forgot Mom also took me to see the king and I with Yul Bryner....

I didn't see it in the theater, but my mom rented Deliverance for me at much too young of an age to watch it. My mom also rented Crying Game and made me watch it with her and my grandparents when I was around 12...she was just sitting on the edge of her seat waiting to see our reaction to the big reveal

Mom took me to see The Elephant Man. Scarred for years.

Dad took me to see The Outlaw Josey Wales, loved it but looking back, they probably wouldn't let a 8 year old in to see that movie nowadays

My dad took me with him to watch Bull Durham in the theater when I was a kid because he thought it was just about baseball.

My dad took me to see Jaws.. That seems to be the one everyone remembers.. I still laugh.. When the head came out of the hole in the sunken boat my dad jumped.. He got a little pissed that I laughed at him..
