Almost every catcher in the pros does this now too. Teams don't steal like they used to so they put more emphasis into staying low and working the bottom of the zone from the ground up to get calls. We just can't execute pitches for it to work

its just been maddening at the plate the last two games. We've had so many opportunities yet only get 4 runs each game.

USM was throwing a lot of balls early in this game and last night.
LSU had no patience at the plate and bailed them out.
On the other hand USM is smart enough to let our pitchers hang themselves.
