These two are in constant communication. Any "rift" between DJT and BDR is a fabrication to split support for the nominee.
Ron is a young man, he has the rest of his life to be president, it's a pretty shitty job I might add when 100% of the other party is against you and half of your own party is too.
A Trump with what he learned in the first term, not having to be concerned with re-election, will be a beautiful thing.
Hopefully he can get all of the yes men lawyers and that goofy son-in-law of his out of the way this time.

Well sure. He's a recent former President. But you make that statement as though it's a good thing. Donald Trump is the most toxic and radioactive politician I've ever seen. Fair or not, he's known globally for some pretty negative reasons.
And when you say "wedge attempt", do you mean Trump from his supporters or Trump from Desantis? Because it really doesn't matter, they're both the same.
MAGA is already starting to peel off from Trump and move toward Desantis. This isn't some artificial media creation or some grand media conspiracy to divide and conquer. Conservatives see a legit candidate here that can win and they're relieved, because they know right under the surface, Trump simply isn't electable.
Ron Desantis will run for President and Trump will do one of two things. Get out of the way and support him or run himself and make sure neither get the office.
The "wedge" is already there. The media didn't create it.
Trump is utterly and completely unelectable. The worst thing that could possibly happen is Trump forcing MAGA to make a choice. If he does so, you'll get neither in the White House.

- Ron has the complete luxury of a legislature that was elected by the same people that elected him. He WILL not have that in DC.. nothing remotely close to it.

If there were to be a head to head in the primaries the wife and I will vote for DeSantis over Trump. Trump was always against the 2nd amendment until it wasn't beneficial for him politically. DeSantis walks the walk and talks the talk and does what he says that he will do
