I’ve watched every game this year. Jay should have pulled Riley when the lead off guy of the inning he got chased in hit the ball to the warning track. He’s been quick to pull all pitchers all year except for maybe Hilliard. Normally decisive Jay was indecisive and it cost LSU this game.

In that moment I think he assumed lsu was going to score a pile of runs in this game. Didn’t turn out that way. I do agree though. Going with Cooper ended up being a game ending decision.

We weren't going to score runs against their pitcher. That was evident in Thompson's at bat with the bases loaded.

I don’t know if I’d set my offense barometer based on Thompson ABs.
This pitcher isn’t good. LSU tucking tail like they did last Saturday against Kentucky.
