Gas prices rise to another all time high at $4.715 from $4.671 yesterday.
It feels like we shouldn't STILL be having 1% jumps in price in one day. Where does this end?
Prices in California are up to $6.21

At least the Fourth of July is fast approaching, I can then realize my dime, nickel, and penny savings per person on that meal and put that windfall towards these increased energy costs.

It’s beyond stupid now.
I did just read that the Saudis are expected to ramp up some oil production to help make up for lost Russian oil in the market so maybe that will help somewhat

LEase Sale 257
Read up on lease sale 257 that blocked the valid sale of GOM leases by an activist liberal judge in DC so that they could conduct an EPA study on the effects on climate change. This administration is fully behind this garbage

North Atlanta burbs: 10¢ jump. $4.09 yesterday, $4.19 today. ($1.94 ~18 months ago when Biden was inaugurated.).

It went from 3.92 > 4.19 over night at the Shell and Roadrunner gas station here in West Little Rock

This is Europe’s fault for outsourcing their gasoline and finished fuel productions to Russia and Eastern Europe.

Biden Makes Sweeping Changes to Oil and Gas Policy
January 28, 2021
President Joe Biden has followed through on a campaign pledge by introducing a moratorium on new oil and gas leasing on federal lands and waters. With nearly 25 percent of U.S. oil and gas production coming from federal lands, the policy shift may have significant implications for future investment and production.
A1: In a January 27 executive order that introduced a sweeping, government-wide approach to climate policy, Biden announced several new oil and gas policies. The Biden administration is halting new oil and gas leasing on federal onshore lands and offshore waters “to the extent consistent with applicable law.”
Biden’s January 20 executive order also withdrew the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline and directed agencies to consider new rules to curb methane emissions from oil and gas. Last, Biden has directed government agencies to work toward eliminating fossil fuel subsidies by fiscal year 2022.
A4: Industry associations object to Biden’s executive orders, arguing that they will deter investment, kill jobs, reduce state revenues, and shift oil and gas production to other countries.

Democrat Joe Biden’s remark that he would “transition” away from oil in the U.S. in favor of renewable energy drew quick attention Thursday night from President Donald Trump, who saw it as a boon to his election chances in key states.
“I would transition away from the oil industry, yes,” Biden said in the presidential debate’s closing minutes under peppering from Trump. “The oil industry pollutes, significantly. ... It has to be replaced by renewable energy over time.”
The Biden campaign’s climate plan calls for the U.S. to have net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. And he repeated his pledge to end federal subsidies for the oil and gas industry.

I’m sure y’all were complaining about gas prices this much when it went from $2 to $4/gal under Bush in 2004-2008.

Yes.
Any other stupid fricking takes you got in your back pocket?

Yeah but when gas is 400 dollars a gallon 4 cents is miniscule.
