Anyone else love this movie?

I loved it when I was younger. It was meta before most.

Charles Dance was so good in this movie.

I was 12 when it came out. Saw it in the theater. Actually did not like it the first time. Going in, I didn’t know it was supposed to be a comedy. Saw it again a year or so later and it grew on me.

Was a gigantic flop when it came out considering it was one of the more hyped films of the decade, but it was just way too meta for audiences expecting to go get some popcorn and see Terminator mixed with Lethal Weapon mixed with Die Hard, like how it was advertised.
Watching it now though, and it's genius. The look of the film is also phenomenal. It has that glossy, early 90s action blockbuster art design and cinematography, and the action sequences include some of the most incredible real life stuntwork ever put on film.
Everyone should give this movie a shot if you've never seen it. It will blow you away compared to the cgi-fests that exist now.

Saw it in the theater as a kid and liked it. Don't think I've seen it since, so I'll have to check it out.

This is exactly what I mean. I love it now, but it wasn’t the movie I had in my head when we went to see it. I was too dumbfounded to really enjoy it for what it is.

Great movie. I mean it’s bad, but it’s a classic

Same. I do remember having the board game where the movie screen would turn.

I didn’t realize the whole movie was supposed to be satirical as a kid, buts it’s so great.

She was on fire in the mid-90's. Then she married that goober Pete Sampras and faded into 11 year old boy nostalgia
