“What does this mean? What this means is that it will no longer be possible to buy, sell, transfer or import handguns anywhere in Canada," Trudeau said at a press conference.

Funny thing is a few years back their handgun registry proved to be quite costly and ineffective. No way they allow current handgun owners to retain their firearms and it'll be a matter of time before being required to surrender their handguns.
The "I support hunting and basic protection" crowd better be paying attention. Gun control advocates will not stop there and your little revolver will be next.
