Storing your gun safely in a gun safe doesn't come cheap, does it?

Why? And no.

Canada has a ridiculously low homicide rate when compared to the US. Toronto, a city about the size of Chicago had 105 murders in 2020. Chicago had 775. That's actually more than the entire country of Canada.

Banning handguns is pointless as Canada does not have a significant problem with handgun violence/crime and this is little more than posturing. They are culturally very different than the US when it comes to handgun ownership. Again, this is nothing but a victory lap after a non-existent competition.

So only the wealthy can afford a constitutional protection? Sorry poor people, you're on your own.

You can't really compare Canadian political parties to the US.

Their conservatives are probably closer to being Democrats rather than Republicans.

This.

Conservatives = Liberal Americans
Labor, others= Full European socialism

Can Scruffy apply this mindset to Russia, Ukraine, China, Taiwan, etc.?

Justva note. The legislation is proposed now. It will gonto committee for possible changes, additions, retractions etc. Then it comes back to the house for debate where it can be changed again. Need three readings in the house then a vote before its law. Long way to go.
Having a handgun in gwn has always been a process and i dont see this changing that but it seems to limit the number of handguns.
I am a avid sport shooter and hunter as are lots of family. Only one cousin that i know has a handgun permit. Its kind of rare for cdns to have a handgun.

Commies make random and dumb value statements all the time.
You're no exception.

The people who need to protect themselves the most need a viable market. Poor people.

Unless you think rich people deserve protection and poor don't.

This isn't about protecting citizens from other citizens' guns. This is about protecting government from other citizens' guns.

Here's one Canadian baw who will tell you exactly what he thinks about that shite Administration to the North:

Quick Dick McDick on The Great Reset (Canaderp Edition)

Just take the time and listen.

ETA: Go to the ~4:50 mark to hear his take on Canaderp's gun laws.
