Top 5 Breaking Bad/BCS episode for me. I don’t see how they’re going to wrap everything up in only 6 more episodes

Amazing. Simple. Devastating, amazing writing.

How about Howard’s complete undressing of Jimmy and Kim at the end? He was spot on.
And it was so chilling how slowly and calmly Lalo pulled out the gun and put on the silencer.

The long shot to start the episode was art….
I think we are overlooking that.

Another thing…the quick preview to the second half was in black and white I think, showed the murder scene in the living room completely cleaned up, and you can hear Jimmy’s voice saying something about how great things can be and far they’ve come in spite of all that happened. It reminded me an awful lot of Walt continuing to tell that same thing to Jessie over and over, convincing him not to quit after each traumatic event put him into a depression…his gf dying, shooting Gale, the kid getting shot, etc.

Fantastic episode. As soon as Lalo walked in I knew Howard was dead. And I wondered if maybe Kim would get it too. My only problem with the Howard storyline is that it is very similar to Chuck’s in that Jimmy (and now Kim) are scamming on him and he figures it out to a tee, and then it doesn’t actually matter and they get away with it. That being said, it’s a minor gripe for me and didn’t bother me much at all.
The candle shite was great. And put me in the camp that right off the bat thought Howard has brought his own hit man. I was kinda wondering if he was gonna go off the deep end for good and have Kim murdered in front of Jimmy.
The guy who plays Lalo is so fricking great. You just 100% buy into him being a total psycho/sociopath and off his hinges, while simultaneously being in complete control. He’s a great actor.
Kim was looking good in the beginning of the episode.
No Gene in this half of the season is borderline inexcusable though. But I suspect we will get things wrapped up and have a heavy dose of Gene in part two (we better, otherwise it will feel like a waste).
This isn’t recency bias for me, and I’ve been saying it for a while now, but this show is just better than BB. Just the way it’s crafted and the suspense building just right, it’s incredible television. And while this half season has had a couple of lulls, it’s still been a great ride and it’s not as low as parts of S5 of BB for me.

I'm starting to think Kim is in Omaha with Gene
They have made it so apparent he's alone there I think its a red herring
Wrong, they showed you in season 3 episode 1 that they have some type of contact.
The dipshits around here just like to dismiss Gene handling a KC Royals bag as nothing to see here.

Of course there’s 6 episodes left but not sure how Saul/Jimmy is as lighthearted as he is in breaking bad after that. Sorry. He still definitely has a conscience and a soul from what we’ve seen even if he does take things too far. No way after seeing that is his character not traumatized for life and probably perpetually depressed.

In fairness, based on the opening scene of the season when they are clearing out Saul's house, he is on a shitload of pills.

I'm not a pill expert, but I read that almost all those pills were for hair loss. I have no clue if that's true or not.

Maybe a little David Lynch influence.

I guess we know why they named the episode execution.

Mike almost has to be involved as Jimmy doesn't know anyone else in the body disposal business unless the vet knows a guy.
They'll likely play it off as a suicide, but it's probably not a coincidence now that Mike's first scene in Breaking Bad is cleaning up Jesse's apartment after Jane's death.

In BB Saul appears to think Lalo is alive. 2 takeaways from that.
1. He truly believes Lalo is alive.
2. From Vince: He knows Lalo is dead, but has such ptsd that he's still worried about Lalo's friends. "Lalo didn't send you, thank God."
Where it gets interesting:
How does Saul know to blame Nacho?
Right now the entire cartel(outside the Salamancas) think Nacho killed Lalo.
It appears, the cartel never catches wind of anything past that.
I think this means at some point Mike kills Lalo and tells Saul or relays through Kim that Nacho did it.
How would Saul jump straight to Nacho?
