Last year Lucas Giolito told reporters he wished Donaldson would come say it to his face, referring to some postgame comment. JD hawked him down in the parking lot. Donaldson is my favorite player in baseball that’s not on the Braves.

So saying or doing something disrespectful is along the same line as saying or doing something racist???
Or you just can’t accept agreeing with La Russa’s take that it was racist is Anderson on record with a reporter agreeing he also thought it was “ Same. Same. Along that same line” as being racist.
Your argument sounds as weak as Anderson.

He seemed like he could become one of the new bigger faces of base all because has the right amount of swagger, but also seemed to have a good attitude on the field. But this hollow bullshite trying railroad Donaldson because he didn't like getting called out for his bullshite hubris, frick him. Makes me like Donaldson a lot more though.

He calls himself Jackie Robinson (which is comical because he was not on Jackie’s level) and it’s fine. Players joke with him about him calling himself Jackie and it’s “racist”? What is racist about being called Jackie? Jackie’s an absolute legend. If he was taking it literal, which he likely was not and is just looking for an excuse to rationalize his behavior, then he should have been honored.

He's fiery and you absolutely love that guy when he's on your team. He was great for us in 2019 too. Wish we could have kept him but glad we didn't match that absurd money Minnesota gave him.
Also, he's tough as nails.
