My apologies. You are right.

Throw typically out the window when there is a leak of this magnitude. Or continue to reside in the little bubble where such things never exist.
The lives of Supreme Court justices are verifiably in danger not by my opinion, but from the threat assessment of those in charge of protecting them & the info they have received.
I felt like this was the very rare situation that actually called for a very public pronouncement from a Chief Justice (I mean like a televised public address), telling everyone how this would be handled, how it would not be tolerated, and would in no instance have any effect on the decision.
The fact that he didn't do that and issued just a rather typical milquetoast "press release" was rather disheartening and likely rather telling.

I suppose the people you told in the milk post are all the crazies? Because they don't believe your lies about milk being unsafe?
BRIEFLY:
Most raw milk is perfectly safe. It is no surprise that an older gentleman grew up on raw milk and did not get sick. The pasteurization requirements did not arise from the 99% ( or more) of raw milk that is safe, but rather from the tiny percentage that can kill you ... usually due to improper handling.
You are a strange individual.

Why? That is not how the Court operates. You are never going to get a peak into the internal machinations.

Right. And the leak is an aberration.
Making the leak investigation and the Court's handling of it public knowledge would be really stupid.

It's not just a vote where they raise hands and announce a decision. Opinions of SEVERAL cases are being passed around and edited. They'll be case law for years. Let them do their jobs.

Who says I cannot be subtle? I figured you would "get it" and saw no need to scream from the mountaintop.

Roberts does not want the Opinion to be issued. He is sitting on it so that they can end the session without it being issued. He is hoping that if enough pressure is put on the conservatives, they will fold and Roe can be preserved.

They cant release the decision without the dissent
Yes they can. It is just a courtesy to wait.

I think CJ Roberts wants the pressure to be felt.
This is definitely how the decisions of our Justice system should be made!

I mean… is making the decision now gonna make their lives less at risk?
It’s actually insane that Ono one has tried to kill a Justice yetZ we’ve had presidents shot congressmen and governors shot.
But a 9 member government body who can overrule every branch of government and has LIFETIME appointments has remained relatively untouched.
It’s literally called the 9 headed Caesar.

While the ruling is still not handed down, that allows for the aborto- cultist to continue to harass and intimidate the judges.
Once it drops, it’s done. There’s no reason for this to be delayed until June. Circumstances are clearly at a level where if something should happen, there could be no way to undo the damage.
And before anyone even utters “oh that’s just crazy talk, they would never do…”, You’ve been in a coma for the last five years.

I mean The way to undo the damage would be you know, killing a couple of Supreme Court justices while the Dems are in control.
Again, putting the decisions out doesn’t exactly stop whackos.

Yep, absolutely.

The leaked draft was the very first step. (You can see this in how ideological, vs judicial, the draft is.) The other steps ALWAYS take a long while, especially on contentious issues. The final draft may well produce the same result, but you can be pretty damn sure that the text will contain major differences.
So your ilk is committing crimes because of something that isn’t even close to final?
Typical.

The decision will be realeased according to the original time schedule which will be in June. The thing I am waiting for is information on the leaker. The case of the leaker should be very easy to solve given the limited number of people with access to the information.
Won't come out in this day and age, especially if it's a liberal justice clerk. Even if it does, it will be minimized to the point that there are no real consequences.
