Thanksgiving night 2018 is the night he turned into a noodle arm. He never played at an elite level after that, unfortunately.
He let us down in that NFC championship against the Rams partially because of his dead arm. We squeaked by the Eagles and then lost to the Rams.

I’ve always been a big Drew Brees supporter, how can you not be, he’s the greatest player who ever put on a Saints uniform. I remember when he signed with the Saints. It was my senior year of high school. He brought us many good times.
However, I agree with those who have said his playing days are best left in the past. I’m all for giving Jameis Winston a shot this year and seeing what he can do. With these new additions and a healthy Michael Thomas, there’s no reason Jameis can’t be successful. If Drew were to try and come back, that would kind of derail Jameis’ potential this season.
If Drew wanted to come back in a coaching capacity, hell yeah, I would love to have that man on the coaching staff. Drew knows what it takes to run the offense the way it was run in the glory days. But playing again, nah man, just gotta let that go.
