Our athletic department has been a disappointment this year

We spend far too much money on athletics to have sucked this badly. Who knows how baseball will finish but we won’t advance very far without any pitching. I’m very disappointed in the way things have gone this year in football, basketball and now baseball.
I don’t really understand how anyone can disagree with this. We were absolutely horrible in football and mediocre in basketball and baseball. Please if you disagree tell me what you have enjoyed about any of the these seasons. I’ll agree basketball was pretty awesome for awhile but the bad losses to Ole Miss, SC, and Vandy along with the end of the year shenanigans kind of ruined everything.
ETA: maybe not an embarrassment but a disappointment

Your post illustrates everything that is wrong with the LSU fan base.

LSU’s golden era spoiled everyone.
The facilities for baseball do need to be upgraded though.

We have 1st year head coaches in all 3 sports. Relax.

Is it too much to ask to not lose to Ole Miss and Arkansas in all 3 big 3 sports? The future is bright in every sport too with the new coaches but come on.

We made the ncaa tournament in basketball and we are still in hosting contention in baseball. You are not very realistic.

I was no fan of Joe Alleva, but outside of hiring Kim Mulkey Woodward still has a lot to prove.

MBB and WBB did well this past season. Top 5 in the SEC and making the NCAA Ty is not mediocre for LSU basketball programs.

Basketball facilities better get priority over baseball, IMO.

I'd do my best to help you understand, but I'm not really one to waste my time.

I disagree with you. We fired our Football coach for being mediocre the last two years and have done well on the recruiting trail and the transfer portal to hopefully leave us in a good position to be good this year.
Basketball had a good year and then we fired our coach for the allegations and have again done well in recruiting and the transfer portal that leaves us in a good spot to be good next year.
Our baseball team has been unconventional this year but has done really well for the lack of starting pitching and have done well on the recruiting front and depending on how the draft goes we should be in a good position next year.

Joe Alleva is responsible for the cheating and likely probation in basketball

You should pick and choose the schools with the best programs and follow them. Then maybe you won’t be so miserable
