Has your signature changed through the years?

Talking about your legal document signature. I found some old tax returns from 15 years ago and noticed my signature has changed quite a bit. It's more legible now.

Mine went from 14pt times new Roman to 12pt times new Roman, to 11 Calibri. Vision discrimination if you ask me. I'm 2020 tho so no problems here.

Mine has devolved into basically a scribble that somewhat looks like the first letter of my name and then I had a seizure.

I can't write worth a shite anymore. Keyboards ruined me. It's not even legible. I just make my mark basically

My handwriting in general has always been varying degrees of chicken shite, and it hasn't gotten better. I hope nothing I write is ever the key to some big mystery.

I’m illiterate, so the X pretty much stays the same.
I actually just randomly hit the screen all day and it’s sheer luck if words gheu kleuo opersw sheedser

I used to write my entire name out neatly in cursive.
Now I just scribble a mark that looks kinda like my name, idgaf.

Mine's the opposite, less legible.

Moved from studiously including every cursive letter of my name to just the first letter of first and last name. Basically it's just an initial now.

Interesting tidbit about signatures. I'm in the financial services industry and because a bunch of accounts were opened with e-signature any large money movements where there is a wet signature are now needing a medallion stamp. Because the "signatures" don't match. I find that hilarious.

Mine looks very similar to my dad's, I used to forge his name a good bit on school stuff.

Yes, it's also part of the look at how successful I am now as you can't read my signature game.

For a while at work I had to sign a bunch of checks every week.
My signature evolved to a recognizable first and last letter with some uniform squiggles in between.
So that’s where it has been ever since.

Similar circumstances led to my simplification as well. Saved a lot of time.

I used to take my time and make it look cool and legible. But back then I didn't have to sign a whole lot of stuff. Now, it's basically a scribble with a distinct "R" at the beginning of my first name.
I sign way too much shite everyday to make it look neat now.

A little. It was terrible when I was a baby but it has improved.

Mine evolved in the first year in the real world when I was having to sign my name to dozens of documents a week. It is now to the point that you can make out the first letter, and if I tell you my name you'll figure out about 30% of the other letters.

Much better now than back in the day. I’ve added a bit of flair over the years.

I don't know that I even have what one would consider a signature. There is zero consistency with how I sign my name.
