Agreed. I didn't see the left having any motivation to get out in November. Now, it's going to be a war.

DU in full meltdown.

“This decision will kill women”

I’m thinking this will save a few.

They will find out abortion is still not illegal. Want one, grab a bus to NY, CA, CO, etc.

It doesn’t matter what informed voters think. Middle ground voters vote on hot topic issues, and this will not be good for the GOP

Gotta be honest here - I don't care about the impacts of the midterms if this is the ruling

I don’t know any middle ground people that think killing babies is ok. We are a sick and twisted society if that’s what people will vote for

This is huge for Democrats. I see them making a big push in midterms now

Yep the GOP is gonna lose those abortion voters now. The trans and queer vote will follow for sure.

Can we keep this on the politics board?

Can we make a politics board for moderates?

I don't disagree

But it further highlights our plight of this Country almost beyond being saved.

I know you think you're making a point, and you may be right, but being right in political situations is pretty unimportant when you have a specific end goal.

Quit hyperbolizing. Nobody in the middle, myself included, thinks abortion is anywhere near a 'barbaric practice'.

I can’t remember a decision leaking in my lifetime.

The only reason to leak it, would be to blow up the process and somehow stop the court

in an initial majority draft circulated inside the court
Time for Roberts to sweep in to correct the final like he apparently did for obamacare.

So simple minded. The Dems had ZERO momentum going into midterms. Zero. They were dead in the water. This fired up their base to get out and vote now. 90% of us voters vote for dumbass reasons, this is going to be their reason

It's never happened that I can recall.

It'll rock the Court if it's real. So much for Roberts being the protector of the Court's dignity.

For those worried about the elections, the leak might actually help. Better the gradual adjustment starting now than the dramatic moment in late June.

Regardless of how you feel on the issue, there’s absolutely no question it’s unpopular and will ruin conservatives to take a stance on.

I imagine similar sentiment was had about slavery. Sometimes moral stances should be taken even if they're unpopular to a subset of backwards barbaric wretches.
