Limit the number of time a batter can step out of the box to one or none.

What should change? Reduce the number of games.
The reason the NFL is so popular is because of scarcity. (Now) 17 games a year. One game per week. That scarcity raises the importance level of each game.
Even the players in the MLB and NBA don't really care all that much about the first few months of the season. You see that particularly in the NBA when the intensity level increases DRASTICALLLY once the playoffs start.

College football is quickly shooting up the list. The playoffs are awful. Coaches are hilariously unlikeable, players are children who switch teams if someone looks at them wrong, nobody gives a shite west of the Mississippi...and so on.

A ton, but I'll start with a few:
1. Fire Adam Silver. He is a spineless, gutless pussy who is more concerned about being the players' friend than doing his job. The NBA needs a hardass commissioner.
2. Eliminate max contracts.
3. Hard salary cap.
4. Eliminate fully guaranteed contracts. The behavior of NBA players over the last 12 years should be justification.
5. Ban Klutch Sports as long as LeBron is an active player.
The NBA has let the tail wag the dog for way, way, way too long. Time to bring some control back to the teams.
I didn't even dive into their woke bullshite. That is an entirely different issue.
