You are going to miss guys like glen Logan and Neil farrell.

I wouldn't put too much stock into a spring game though.

I do think the interior might take a little step back but you still have some very solid players. They will be fine.

The problem with pondering things like this is that we’re playing against our own guys. So should we be upset about our interior d-line against the run..or happy about our interior o-line play? It’s a catch-22

They ran no stunts and only 2 fronts! What do you expect. This defense will be strong!

It was practice. Relax. Our dline will almost certainly be top notch.

They shut the offense down and had several sacks in the first 4 or 5 drives and that was in their basic front. Then substitutions happened and the defense was not allowed to make in game adjustments. If you’re worried about something it should be our offensive line and secondary.

An offense / defense scrimmage favors the offense by a lot.
In anormal game, an offense might never sub: same 5 OL, v minimal WR changing and ocasional RB swapping. They can survive more.
For a defense to function, you need a lot of bodies. There is a frequent DL rotation 2 sometimes 3 deep. Also, LBs and DBs are running all over the place and may need breathers. In a second half once those DL rotation players are 3rd stringers and they’re not in fall time shape, the RBs and OL will feast.
We saw the DL do v well in the beginning of the game

I actually took the mirrored view: pretty good blocking schemes and linemen executing them...
