Good and if this group of employees don’t like it, find somewhere else to work.

If I was running a company I would ban that shite too. Go protest when you get home. You come here to work god damnit.

Nobody cares if you are a dude who sucks dick or a chick who used to be a dude if you just come to work and do your job effectively. If you don't like the god damn rules then go find a job for a company that's into all of that shite.. Like Dow.

Normally, I'd laugh at the idea of backlash against Exxon in Texas. But, I was just in Dallas, and I was shocked by the number of people still wearing masks. Perhaps Texas isn't as "red" as I thought?

This was north Dallas, in the Galleria area. How bad is the rest of Dallas?

Why wouldn't the "pride" flag considered offensive to heterosexuals? If confederate flag is offensive to Blacks, why wouldn't a "pride" flag be offensive to heteros? I thought leftists were against that kind of thing.

Question, why would these flags be flown at the offices in the first place?

I'm okay with this. Exxon should only fly the flags of the countries and states they do business with.

Exactly... all flags EXCEPT Exxon, USA and the State flag where the the building is located should be banned. Period. Partisan flags have NO place in the workplace.... The special interest groups can pound sand.

I'm not sure these flags are from real employees.

“external position flags”

The inference of most (if not all) political flags is that everyone must kow-tow to the related cause represented.

There is no room for any alternative opinion or stance.

I don’t oppress anyone.

frick whomever wrongly accuses me of doing so.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that this exists. There are some that have figured out how to use I&D and a weaponized HR to their advantage. And it’s not just at Exxon. Heterosexual white males are the group most discriminated against in today’s Corporate America.

All they wanted was to be treated equal. That turned into “you’re a bigot if we don’t teach homosexuality in 1st grade”

I had beers with 3 Houston based Exxon employees last night and they didn't even mention it.

This is like when there is "Twitter backlash" about something, which means like 5 people and 100k bots are mad and nobody else gives a shite.

They're basically just an organized gang. Extort the frick out of corporations.

The way this ends is for every marginalized group to commission about corporate not recognizing their group's ethnicity or religion. Then when there's 30 different groups wanting "equality" it will force the company to either waste their time appeasing everyone, at which point you keep creating groups, or, they will do what they should do and adopt Exxon's stance of not recognizing external groups.

They should fly a Gadsden flag or trump flag and throw their logic in their face
