Going to the Byron Nelson Tournament and me and my friends want to play golf while we're over in Dallas. Has anyone of y'all played the Dallas Cowboys Course, what's your thoughts?

I enjoyed it the one time I played. Didn't necessarily blow me away, but it was a fun course and I didn't have a single complaint other than it was pretty pricey. The course was in fantastic shape though and actually not outrageously challenging.

It’s awesome if it’s free. That’s what I’ve been told. Ranger’s and I’ve heard Terra Verde are better for the price.

Played the Rangers course a few weeks back. It's in good shape and a good course. The right amount of challenging.

Fun course, but I think we paid like $250 and it's basically all you can eat and drink (non alcoholic) while on the property that day. I could have that wrong but thought that was it.

Makes sense because the Korn Ferry played there last week. I might check it out this weekend because it’s probably still playing nice.

I really really like the course. It's probably my favorite public course in the DFW. It is very pricey, but that price includes food and beverage (not booze). So if you go for lunch, play your round, and eat dinner, it's really not that bad of a deal. I think it's around $200.

It’s a fun course and was in pretty good shape for as much play as it gets. We teed off mid morning so went there early and ate breakfast, then had lunch on the course, and ate supper after the round. Made the price much more doable and the food was good. Bring a flask in your bag to make a drink with the free drinks and have a good time

I’m trying to imagine having this conversation with my wife
“Hey we are going to get to the course around 9:30, eat breakfast, tee off at 11, eat lunch midway. Then after the round we are going to hang around until dinner time so we can eat again, I’ll see you around 8 PM! Have fun with the kids by yourself all day!”

This. Cowboys is really nice and pricey, but Grapevine muni right next door is fantastic as well. $60 weekend green fee and 27 holes that are always in great shape.

Cowboys is great if your paying the weekday or twilight rates, but on a weekend id rather play Tierra Verde or Waterchase. Another really fun public course is Stevens closer to town. Short track nice and fairly cheap
