No freaking way. I have an 02 1500hd with 6.0 with 202k on it and dad has an 05 2500hd with 6.0 with 280k. You have a vastly superior truck why would you trade it for a one that is nowhere near the same caliber

none as far as i'm aware

You get the steam leak tick from the broken exhaust manifold bolts?

If none have broken yet hurry and replace all the bolts before they start breaking and have to extracted.

Not a terrible job if you can tack weld a nut on the head of the stud.

Not a good swap IMO

Terrible trade. The 6.0 may be the best engine that GM ever built

6.0 gas
It has a dent in the bottom left rocker panel of of the bed by the bumper. Rear number is rusty. And the back/bottom corners are rusty due to being in the Midwest. Other than that, it’s solid.

I like this truck. I got it in lieu of a 1500 because of those shitty 4L60E transmissions they have. Bought it in OH. Carfax says it was part of the DoT in WV. It currently resides with me in IN.

Yes sir you are correct. 1st gen 4R's were spec'd with 22R's, 22RE's and even the 22RET. Solid axles too until 1986 models arrived

I can tell you the Taco will have seriously bad frame rust that far north. I've seen them so bad that the rear ends fall in two. Be careful.

Tell him you need 8k and his truck if no rust.

didn't some 4-Runners come with the 22R ?

The 1st generation that had the removable top did as did the 2nd generation (1989-1995) which was the first full metal-bodied 4 Runner. The 3rd generation which came out in the same year as the Tacoma's (1995) had the 2.7l, same as the Tacoma's.

Your truck actually has only 95,000 miles?
That’s only 5000 per year average.
Most folks that have a 2500 keep them rolling.
