When you say it won't fit, will it fit if you parked with the bumper almost touching the wall? I had the same problem at the last house and I had a concrete parking curb put in my garage and removed the bottom interior bracket on my garage door to get my truck to fit. Had about a inch in front of the winch and an inch behind the back bumper.

Tacomas never had the 22R. The 4cyl in the Tacomas were 2.4liter engines.

The 22R was only ever in the original pickup trucks.

If it's the 3.0 V6, steer clear. Those had horrible head issues as well as oil gelling problems.

Not an even trade imo. Your cat eye is hard to find with under 100k.

Why not park outside?

Straight up trade? Hell no. With your truck having under 100k miles someone would probably pay up for it, assuming it's clean and well maintained.

In my head you'd be trading your $15k+ truck for a $7000 Toyota.

ETA: if it's clean get it detailed and submit it to CarsAndBid.com to see if they'll list it. They recently sold the same spec truck but a 2001 model with 53000 miles for $21250.00. Cat eyes are more desirable so it's worth a shot, you could get $20k for it.

This plus will not pull the hat off your head while getting 16mpg. Weak as shite as in get run over merging onto the interstate weak.

I’ll swap you my 07, 245k, 6-speed.

How much oil does that 6.0 burn?

I can vouch for that, I had one in my ‘90 Toyota, but this engine was never put in the Tacoma.

Tacoma had either the 2.7 or the 3.4.

And OP, I would not trade straight up. Both trucks are great, but yours is worth more. Is the Tacoma even 4x4? Looks like a pre-runner with no locking hubs.

I don't know know man. Your big green thing is badass! I had 2003 Gmc Z71 SLT that I wish I would had never gotten rid of. Trucks today are not made like this anymore.

If I were your friend, I'd want to make that trade too. You'll regret it.

I would take a close look at the frame on any older toyota pickup. It may be worthless due to rusty rotten frame.
