How Do You Stop the Murders?

BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY!
Let's start zapping these low-life murderers as soon as their appeals have run out. Hell, let's set a time limit on the appeals process- we shouldn't have to feed these misfits any longer than we have to.
If the shot is hard to get..let's give them the sure shot! Like South Carolina where we let 'em face a firing squad and members of the victim's family can volunteer to be on the firing squad.
Talk about bringing closure, huh? And when these maggots see that the justice system means business maybe they'll think twice before taking a life.

You stop the murders by being tough on juvenile and first time offenders. Not necessarily jail time but HARD community service; chain gangs, manual labor, etc.
Next, you’ve got to do something about the family unit and the fatherless homes. Government only supports one child of an unwed mother or something along those lines. Start making fathers accountable for their kids. If they can’t pay, fine, we will just take your time.

Essentially, you’d need ONE gang, an ORGANIZED gang who ran it like a business and didn’t bother the decent folks.

The down-votes show exactly what is wrong with our country! Folks are getting too soft and don't want to hurt others. I don't mind hurting a murderer! Hell, I'd volunteer to be on the firing squad for a few of the killers we've seen in the last few years!

Stop the poor people from having so many babies. Must provide and make x amount of money per year per child.

Didn’t the USA have an organization like this at one time? When they were around places like Chicago and New Orleans were a lot safer.

Dude murderers don’t consider the consequences. You can advocate for the death penalty if you want, but it won’t lower the murder rate.

I remember all these arguments back in the early 1990s. And many of them worked.
Crime went down massively for 2 decades.
One of the few redeeming aspects of "criminal justice reform" is the decriminalization of pot.
Otherwise, tough on crime is a good thing and who gives a diddly shite if we have more people in prison than "other countries?"

A huge prison population isn’t the answer either. Prison like it is is basically crime college.
There should be about 4 basic options for punishment.
Execution- firing squad or hanging
Transport- find some colony with lots of land, maybe in Africa or Greenland, hell dump them off in China. Basically banishment. If you are caught back, you get the rope.
Corporal, Public punishment- bring back the stocks. Let people throw rotten fruit at them. Smack them. Etc. make the public part of the solution.
And Rehabilitation. For those non-heinous crimes, take the people out of the bad situations, teach them useful trades around other decent people, and make them an asset to the community.

If you're talking about NO/BR, there's no stopping it. It's over. We've lost the cities. Like I said in that other thread... I can absolutely guarantee you with 1000% accuracy, the next mayors of both cities WILL BE WORSE than the ones here now. And the DA's in both cities will also be worse. Jason Williams will probably end up in jail at some point, but as for BR - Hillar Moore's replacement (whenever it happens) will likely be a progressive lunatic.
You either move away from here or eventually you will probably be burgled, carjacked, mugged, robbed, stabbed, shot, or possibly multiple of the above. Either live with that chance or GTFO.

Remove more statues, defund the police, stricter gun laws, more balloon release memorials.
