His next contract will more than make up for it, but calling his current deal “503 million” is disingenuous at best

There’s a huge gap there between the end of contract earnings and $1B. Tom Brady has more net worth right now, not including Gisele, and I could see Tom out earning Mahomes to $1B with post career earnings

graphics like this are the only reason they put out these big contracts that will never get played out. Too bad he couldn't keep Tyreek Hill after that 500M contract.
