The only strike against Helena is she’s white, but she’s still decent looking so she’ll pull the black male vote.
NOLA would get a twofer from Helena if they had a crime wave. She’d act as mayor to fight the crime wave, and act as field reporter for local TV at crime scenes.

New Orleans had a chance to renew itself after Katrina but quickly flushed it down the crapper. There were a couple of businessmen running for Mayor who possibly could have turned some things around running the city like a business, but Mayor Chocolate City was re-elected. That city is getting everything they voted for and deservingly so.

Ok , suppose I own a major manufacturing business and I need to be located next to a major river to receive my raw materials and ship out my finished product.
The Mississippi River looks good.
I need a educated work force that is dependable.
I need a low tax rate.
I need dependable electrical power.
New Orleans strikes out because of the taxes are too high and no dependable educated workforce.
Also I might get wiped out by a hurricane and the insurance system in Louisiana is collapsing.
New Orleans is doomed until they can turn these items around.
The next mayor has too be a completely different person if it is ever to come back.

She will 100% be the next mayor. She is being groomed by the Aspen Institute for national level political office. She is a narcissistic, gold-digging, shape-shifting, power lover. The powers behind the modern DNC are propping her up. She will be elected by the dumbest electorate on Earth, and will further the demise of the City of New Orleans, and probably the state.
