Corinthian leather??

I’m in the escalator business. I made 200k this quarter. Lots of lazy sumbitches that hate stairs.

I made that when I owned my own business (hospitality industry) but I sold 2 years ago. Now, I make less at an investment firm, but have much less stress.

On the other hand, my 25 year old step daughter is making over 200k as a travel nurse right now. She works 4 12s a week and moves every 3-6 months. Her current contract is in New Hampshire. She will make 90k over 3 months.

Store manager I know that works for Walmart made $330,000 in 2020 and $341,000 in 2021.

The market manager I know made over $500,000 both years.

Could you imagine that nightmare of a job? Imagine dealing with the employees and customers. Only for $1million a year.

I started with a paper clip. Traded it for a pencil. Traded the pencil for a snow globe. Traded the snow globe for a key chain. Great Grand Pappy died, left me several million dollars, hired an accountant, and now I live on the returns.

Investment Banking

Correct answer right here.

Always lots of talk on OT about lawyers.

But, IB comp has gotten ridiculous…and not just MD comp which has always been high.

On my team, I pay a 35 yo SVP $850k and a 30 yr VP $500k. I’ve got “kids” on my team being paid $200k+ only 2 years out of undergrad.

Btw, neither SVP nor VP have graduate degrees. Just smart and work hard.
