Over 6 wins - 125
Under 6 wins - + 105

BetRivers

Did Ed O really leave the program decimated? Overrated talent that didn’t develop because of lack of discipline or coaching?

This may be Brian Kelly’s real test in his first year (as LSU’s coach). Because I think most Tiger fans look at last year as a blip. Vegas sees it differently, as more of a trend.

Is 6 wins the ceiling?

I think 8 wins is more likely than 6, but some people expecting a dramatic turnaround year 1 are likely kidding themselves.

At this point, it's 2 years with a .500 regular season while the SEC west has gotten stronger. I think the over is a good bet because LSU's talent matched with potentially better coaching and QB play should get us at least 7 wins but this is definitely a rebuild.

I think LSU is more likely to win 7 games than only win 5 games so the over is an easy play for me.

This is more like one of the down years when les was here. At worst it’s like the 8-5 year

Didn't Vegas say 7-5 for 2019?

I want to be optimistic, but I also have to be real.

We went 11 and 12 over the last 2 seasons, and for a number of reasons.

We went into a bowl game against Kansas State with what 39 players and got our tails whipped.

To think BK has a magic wand in his back pocket, or that we have superior talent... we can't be so sure.

Yes he's rebuilt the roster. What's the OLine going to look like? Who's going to be the QB? Will our secondary hold up?

Having said all of that, there are a number of teams on our schedule with similar issues -

Wins (3) -
Southern
New Mexico
UAB

Strong Possibilities cause they have problems too (7)-
Florida State (5-7 last year)
Miss St (Tiger Stadium)
Auburn - lots of off season problems
Tennessee (Tiger Stadium)
Florida - whole new staff
Arkansas - I mean, it's Arkansas
Texas 8&4 - is Max Johnson going to be their QB? If so, we know what that looks like and we should have a chance to win this one

So, if you're O/U is 6 total wins.... I would bet the over. We can get to 7 or 8 wins with this schedule.

Over...7 wins, with a very distant 8.

Definite Losses- Arkansas, Alabama, Tx A&M, Ole Miss

Tossups- Auburn, Florida, or Tennessee

There is a reason that LSU has never won the SEC in an even-numbered season in the championship game era. Beating Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, and A&M on the road is incredibly difficult, even assuming that some of those teams will not be elite in 2022. This LSU team could easily lose all four.

Beating Alabama anywhere is a fluke for any team. Ole Miss, Miss State, and Tennessee at home are all toss up games. So this LSU team must beat a supposedly bad Florida State team, together with the three layups, to reach 6-7 wins, assuming you take two of three from the non-Alabama home slate. That's why the betting total is 6.

Tease it to 5.5 and bet the farm. BK would have to try to not win 6 games

6-6, a very long and sometimes, frustrating season.

2024 should be fun.

They could go 3-5 in SEC & still get over 6 wins.

Anyone figure out how to make this bet on the apps??
