Even if the water isn't trashed by the wind and you do luckily find fish. You are going to be thrown around all day by the wind and chop on top of only being able to cast in one direction. Not a fun day.

I would not go, but if I did I would try Christmas Camp Lake. It should be sheltered from the wind, and you will not have to worry about getting stuck in the mud.

Water on the outside (Rocks) will be Dog shite. If you go to Shell Beach and concentrate on the marsh off the MRGO; you should be able to find decent water. Like the other dude said though; the wind will still kick your arse and it will not be a very pleasant trip. Good Luck and post up if you venture.

I would personally not go if the wind stays that high. I do not find it fun fishing in that kind of wind. But if the wind forecast does drop you can have fun.

I will go at up to 15 mph. Hell around here if you only fished calm days, you'd never be able to go. Today here is 23 mph and gusting to 30s. I was wanting to head out fishing this morning but I didn't, especially because I was going solo.

Any areas with oysters usually clean up pretty quick. Lake Robin area comes to mind.
Now, effectively presenting a Lure to fish in 15mph plus winds is a tough puzzle to figure out. It makes jigging deep holes almost impossible

Wanted too but ended up replacing trailer brake rotors, pads and bearings.

It looked like you couldnt get out of the deep canals according to reports I saw. Not many fish caught.
