Pretty sure the lowest seeded team to ever win the tournament was a 7 seeded nova back in the day but I could be wrong

Villanova was an eight seed in 1985.

No, their opponent in the finals, Butler, was though. UConn was a 3 seed.

No, they were a 3 seed with Kemba in 2011. They were a 7 seed in 2014 with Napier and Kevin Ollie.
