It's time to stop all the BS talk about the Westbank!

As I mentioned in the other Westbank thread. It's all BS. I'm from the Westbank and my family and I and our many Westbank friends have been supporting New Orleans NBA teams since the days of Pete Maravich and the Jazz. We are all college graduates and many are doctors. There are no more Laker fans on the Westbank than there are in NOLA, Metairie, Kenner or Chalmette and anyone that says otherwise is talking out their arse!

Lol. Chill. I’d you’re not rooting for the lakers, why does this bother you?

Go to the sports store in Oakwood mall. Tell me which basketball team has the most jerseys.
Check back in.
Check back in.

Because every time the Lakers come to town I see stupid threads about all the Lakers fans being from the Westbank. Totally absurd and ridiculous.

Yeah and no other Mall in town has Laker jerseys. Really dude?

My first question is why would anyone from the Westbank or anywhere else shop at Oakwood mall? I live on the Westbank and haven’t went in there in over 15 years. No, I don’t root for the Lakers and never would unless it would be to benefit the PELS in someway. Honestly, I have several friends that live on the bank that are diehard Pelicans fans that went to the game tonight. I’m sure there are plenty of Lakers bandwagon fans over here. However, I doubt it is anymore than anywhere else in the city.

True, a lot are Warriors, briefly Clippers, and now Nets fans as well. Those teams really cut into the Westbank stronghold the Lakers had.
