What does UF’s rotation look like for this weekend? Does LSU have any advantages on the mound or will it be an uphill battle all weekend?

Bro don’t worry we got murderous row remember. No worries. On a serious note the ace pitching tonight is a top 15 pick and most likely the best in the league.

Florida has good pitching, so it's going to be an uphill battle. It's not unwinnable though.

I only responded so I could add this:

frick Sully and his egregiously short arms.

Just about every conference game this team plays is going to be an uphill battle.

Heard tonight's LHP is a potential top 10 pick and tomorrow's guy throws upper 90s.

Idc if he throws 100, imas long as he’s right handed and doesn’t have an incredible slider.

If our lineup faced a guy like floyd who throws fastballs only then we would score plenty of runs.

I’m interested to see if we try to get his pitch count up by taking the first pitch always or if we flip the script and decide to jump on that first fastball that we always get due to the way we’re scouted

That would be a pretty good chess move to do that. Just all of the sudden change the whole teams approach at the plate

Barco tonight is really good. 91-93 fastball with a good slider and changeup. He will be a 1st rounder. Not sure about top 10 but will be 1st round. I said this in another thread but he reminds me of Randy Johnson. Has a lower arm slot and throws across his body a little bit. Will be a tough challenge for sure. Lots of strikeouts without very many walks.

It’s Florida. LSU will never have a pitching advantage over Florida as long as Sully is there.

Yea, he can. He will sit 91-93 consistently though. Maybe reach back and get it up to 95-97 a few times a game.

He hit 99 last weekend against bama but is inconsistent with his location. He went 3 innings and gave up 4 runs.

Barco pitched 8 and had 10 SO on Friday. Uphill battle tonight.

Tonight's LH is a legit starter. After tonight, they kinda piece things together but we'll prob see a righty to start on Saturday and a lefty to start on Sunday. Other than the 2 LH starters, they're mostly RH dominant but I would think Sully will look to use some lefties that he normally wouldn't.

I'm for this. I'm for trying anything to get the bats heated up.

LSU has no consistent quality pitching vs decent competition. The remainder of this season will be an uphill battle. Even midweek games.

We won’t have a starter get through the 3rd or 4th all weekend. Money doesn’t look comfortable out there. Since he came back from being out. Johnson needs a few years to get our pitching staff to SEC caliber.

Happy I was wrong. He’s settled in. And has some defense behind him so far. We all needed this. They deserve something good to happen we all need something good to happen tonight.
