Nah. American institutions, including the military have been turned into social clubs for outcasts. They're softening up the police and military as we speak.

Why do we pretend that all of the things that have been going on for the last 20 years are okay and acceptable? We sit here and complain about it. We bitch to our wives, our friends, our siblings and parents. That's it, we complain about letting the Government frick us in the arse, increase taxes, pocket our money, send it away to other counties, use it in degrading fashion. Print bullshite fake money and increase our debt, increase inflation, Let them look us in the eye and tell us its for the Greater Good? So much for "We The People" and a Government, governed by us. We've fricked up as a nation and there is no going back. We are free no more and half of the country doesn't know or doesn't give a shite, our freedom is SOL.
22 years ago you guys elected W. If you don't do that things are much much better over the last 20 years.

So, you're saying the legendary huckster Al Gore would have made things better?

The funny part is you think it would be any different if Al Gore won the election.

Feels like they're hell bent on getting in on this war. And when/if it comes to the homeland they'll half arse the defense and let half the country get destroyed.

This is exactly why I don’t believe the GOP has any semblance of a plan. We’re busying espousing this crap about “what to do” meanwhile, people who are getting paid millions of dollars just talk about the same retired garbage.

There doesn’t appear to be any sort of plan other than getting rear ended without lube. Again. And it sucks. I’m afraid Trump was just a flash in the pan and that is scary AF to me going forward.

Mitch Rapp is fictional
The author that created him is dead
So is the idea that top military leadership still believe in patriotism

For starters we never invade Iraq.

I also doubt we go full regime change in Afghanistan, but you can debate that.

Likewise we would have never cut banking regulations or had the Bush tax cuts.

Even though Dems were calling for exactly that during Clinton's 2nd term. You think 9-11 doesn't happen too? Again, the WTC was bombed in '93.

I'd have liked that myself, to be honest. We should have had a singular mission - get in there, get UBL, mop up, and leave.

That's not making things better. That's making them worse. And I bet we have worse rules in place to hasten the housing bubble burst. Which started in the Clinton years.

That the best you've got?

I think he's saying that Lil Bush was so bad especially in his last 2 years that it gift wrapped a big fat Obama shite sandwich our way for the next 8 years. As bad as Al Gore would have been on a lot of issues, I don't think Gore would have been as race divisive as Obama and accelerated this divide between the Have's and the Have Not's eternal victims. Plus I think he's saying Gore would have only been 1 term anyway.

Watching lots of videos on how to raise meat chickens, pigs, care for hens, plant and care for fruit trees, and grow vegetables.

Also looking for land in Mississippi (lower taxes, redder state, cheaper property).

If things go as planned my family will be living off ~35k a year (good luck taxing that much) and when I step off my back porch and spend a few hours in the garden I won't be clocking in and having my labor taxed. I'm done supporting this system

Add to this learn how to repair things yourself, drive older vehicles, etc. Live smaller, give them less to tax, and enjoy life.

Not shitting on you OP.

This is a question that comes to mind whenever this topic or type thread pops up.

If money for travel and moving were no issue and you had a job waiting and all those in your life (wife/kids/parents) were onboard, where would you go?

It’s just a question. It’s not loaded. I will readily admit that I have no idea where I would go.

You don't know this and you certainly can't say that not invading would have had better outcomes. You simply don't know.

I’ve said for several years, Americans who desperately want to restore righteousness, honor and high moral integrity back to our federal government and it’s related institutions simply lack leadership that wants the same things.

I’m convinced we’re at a place of such deep corruption and compromised bureaucrats and politicians the only solution is a near 100% purge of every person who receives a paycheck from the federal government.

The US was somewhat honorable and a force for good 50-60 years ago…..today the US is as corrupt if not more corrupt than any country our political leaders point their fingers at.
