LINK
This is a link to Meat Church who I follow a lot. I was curious to see where my fellow back yard bbq folks get beef ribs like this? Local or do you order? I'm in Zachary so my options are limited. TIA

I buy them at Calandro's or Rouse's in BR when on sale. Costco usually has them too.

Most stores have the whole rack if the sell short ribs, they usually come two in a cryovac and if you ask they will sell a whole rack or pack if you want.
Also, don't sleep on beef back ribs, not as much meat but cheaper and just as good.

Costco has definitely had them the past few times I’ve been. I’ve seen them ar rouses and Alexander’s once and a while too.

Costco. I get them almost every time I see them because they don't ALWAYS have them.

Check your local cattle farm- that's where I get mine. They're cut off the rack, but they are delicious smoked or braised.
I made some in the crock pot last time and used Gochujang, Worcestershire, garlic and olive oil to make a Thai barbecue sauce and it was damn good.

Costco
Yep. Had some in my hands at Costco just 2 days ago and decided to get a nice eye of round instead to make some beef jerky.

Every time I've seen them at Costco they are already cut into singles. I like a rack of 4, and I have only ever found them at Rouse's, but only occasionally.

You can call rouses and have them cut for you.

Pricey but good
Is it? Compared to grocery store prices, it seems relatively reasonable for prime beef and other meats.

There are different types of beef ribs. Short Ribs, Plate Ribs, Back Ribs. Plate ribs are ideal for smoker. Look the pack and see if the there is a nice layer of meat on top or if the meat is between the bones. You want to buy the ribs with the meat on top.
I usually buy mine from Costco but I've run accross them elsewhere as well.

Only place I can find them around me is Town and Country. When I take the time to do them right, they are my favorite meat, ever.

Some would think it’s a little expensive, but yeah I think it’s a bargain. I’ve ordered them three times and they’ve been pretty consistently good and meaty
