Saw him play versus Zachary last season. Was a man amongst boys. Very tough to bring down. They had 4th and 19, ran him around the edge and he go it. He was a stud that night

Curious as well. I read Optimize Your Health by J. Thompson and like what I see. I wonder which doc's will deal with this in BR. The one's I talk to in Zachary have never heard about peptides. Dean Henry has UAE Peptides and has great podcast, but his stuff is waaayy expensive

Eaker BBQ

Headed to Fredericksburg, Tx today. Is Eaker the best joint in town? I need my BBQ fix. TIA
Played Beaver Creek Friday, it’s creeping up there as well

Willis, Tx BBQ

I am headed over there for a wedding at the end of April. Truth is about an hour from there, and I don't think I can get away for that long. Does anyone have rec's for some solid Tx BBQ north of Houston or around Willis? TIA

It was great- the views, the golf, everything. Some greens on the back needed to help, but overall we enjoyed the course. Some of the bunkers had rocks in them but it wasn’t that big of an issue. Our caddy complained about the greens keeper and maintenance saying they needed to be fired. He did tell us White Witch was in bad shape as well. Greens were quick and true - this is where the caddy helped the most

We decided on Cinnamon Hill. I spoke with the lady at Rose Hall and she was adamant that White Witch wasn't in good enough shape. She said the greens were in bad shape. I'm used to Copper and Beaver, so they may be plenty good for me. We may try and jump on WW after we play Cinnamon Hill. I appreciate all the comments.

Has anyone played here? We will be there next week and are trying to decide between White Witch and Cinnamon Hill. Any advice would be helpful - TIA
This is the issue mostly. Zachary didn’t recruit him, him and his mother moved. I think the move was promoted more by LSU from what I’ve heard.

Thanks for the suggestions. We may be able to get in at Hattiesburg CC. If not, we may try Bent Brook

Golf for Bama game

Posted by Creedence on 8/9/23 at 1:06 pm
We are heading to the Bama game in a couple months. We aren't sure if we are heading up I12 or I55. Looking to play golf on Friday and wanted to get some insight. We are considering Oxmoor but would rather not bypass Tuscaloosa and then head back. Old Waverly was suggested but that's a bit out of the way as well. Any tracts along the way y'all would suggest? Personally I want to take I55, but we haven't completely decided.

Vinyl question

Posted by Creedence on 12/24/22 at 3:52 pm
I was gifted a nice little Crosley cruiser plus, but I don’t have any vinyl to play. All I have is an old Allman Brothers record that’s scratched. My question is, where is a good, reputable site to buy vinyl? I’m an old soul so I mainly listen to 60’s 70’s 80’s. Stones, Petty, Seger, Zep, CCR, Allman Brothers. TIY and Merry Christmas

re: Jeep Question

Yes, just want one. My tundra has been paid off for years. Wife’s car is close. I have young kids so no car seats. They will have to understand for now

Here is where I’m at…

05 TJ Rubicon 6 cylinder with 130k - lots of add ons listed.

2010 JK 6 cylinder with 63k - not as many add ons.

Both are similar in price - around 16k

Both seem to causal drivers and garbage kept.

I see responses of get a JK and some that say get a TJ. I guess it’s preference, but I’ve never been an owner so I have no idea

Jeep Question

Posted by Creedence on 12/9/22 at 8:28 am
I have been casually browsing for a 2 door manual wrangler. I don't need it, but I always wanted one. My nephew has really gotten into jeeps recently so he has sort of guided me through this process. What I can tell from looking is people are proud of these vehicles and/or they hold their value, which is odd to me because they seem to be money pits.

Anyway, this vehicle will mostly be used to ride around town in, no mud riding or towing.

I have been told to get a TJ 6 cylinder, but I have seen some clean JK's on FB. One of my patient's mentioned the 3.8 in the JK has all sorts of problems at or after 100k miles. Is this true? The one I was looking at has arounf 70k miles and it says its been garage kept with a female driver.

Most of the TJ's have over 100k miles so I wanted some guidance on which engine may have more life (less issues). I know this depends on who the driver was and what they did with the jeep, but if they were basically garage kept, does it matter?

I saw that when I searched, but wanted to avoid Karu sato. Not sure if I will have time to wait if I order it. I’ll just use some dark brown sugar I suppose
