Impressive. Our Frenchie would probably be at the bottom of that river immediately. One of the few dogs not built for swimming.

Yeah, people suck. But I do love that the people that found her didn't want the money, and they bathed and fed her.

Our Corgi is the same. He doesn’t look that heavy until you try to pick him up. He has to weigh 35-40 lbs.

That is one awesome dog... and one hellacious example of sensationalist "Journalism".
The boat was in the ICW when the dog fell off. The width of the waterway in that area is less than a mile across. I guess it is feasible the pup swam 6.5 miles down the middle of the channel before heading to shore, but common sense says she swam ~1/2 mile to shore and walked the shore line to wear she was found.
Regardless, that is one awesome Corgi!

Good dog.
Our Corgi couldn't swim. She'd sink straight to the bottom of the pool.
