This is the best thing to happen for my golf game in recent memory. After work golf is much more possible throughout the year. This has to be a good thing for the golf industry?

If it passes the house, it will be good for golf in the winter. One more hour of golf at a warmer temperature than first thing in the morning.

Wow, first time in probably my entire life Congress did something to improve my daily life

Worst week of the year is when evening golf ends in the Winter. In Dallas it's still in the 70s-80s

Well, Congress hasn't officially done anything yet. The Senate passed it. We're waiting for the house to vote.

I vowed to stop playing Tenison because of how poorly I’ve been treated. Now I’m going to start playing in the winter just to make those aholes hang around and wait on me

Another Tenison complaint

Welcome to the club, pal. I’m playing Highlands weekly now until 9:30 in the dark. Don’t GAF if they set my carts buzzer off I can walk.

Read my post history they’ve wronged me multiple times

I’m going Glen and when they start buzzing it every 10s I’m just going to leave it on the 9th hole all the way at the back of the lot for them

I played Mesquite two weeks ago and the club manager asked how Tenison is playing. I told him the people managing the course are complete jackasses. His response, "oh, I used to manage their" with a shocked face. The truth hurts sometimes. I see people bitching on TD and when I get paired up with people everybody makes a comment. It sucks because Highlands has a fun layout.

Yep. And for no reason where I live. It is usually still warm.

November and February / March are about to be much better.

I don't put it past politicians to screw up any easy decision. So I'm not holding my breath that we will get the extra hour all year. But I am curious why anyone would object to the bill.

It was a unanimous vote, no one is against this. It will easily pass the house and get signed.

I've been paying attention to this for a while and its always been coming.

I really don't know much about the "laws" behind changing the time, but how is it that Arizona(?) gets away with not changing the time but the rest of the states have to?

And I'm always happy to see the optimism behind getting rid of it.

May have something to do with they stay on regular time and don’t use daylight savings.
