$.16 - $.19 cents per gallon back in the mid- 60s in Lafayette. There were a couple of stations on Johnston St. that would have gas wars.

.77 per gallon at the Loves truck stop on the way to the 2001 SECCG in December 2001. Costed me under $40 round trip. Remember, that was 3 months after 9/11.

If only Congress would support the investment of a new electric grid.

I know I've paid lower but the lowest I remeber was under $1 right around when I graduated college. So I am going to say 1999-2000 and this was in PA because Location (taxes) count.

I got my first truck in 2008 so when trump was president and it was below $2.

I remember being a child and it being around $1.30 but I couldn't drive.

It's $5 a gallon now

I turned 16 in 1992. I paid around 75 cents per gallon thruout high school and college. I do recall the bottom dropping out and getting gas for about 50 cents around the year 2000. That wasn't that long ago.

I remember paying 0.80-0.90 per gallon when I was in high school in the mid-90's.

It was a big deal when it finally hit that dollar mark.

In the 90s, I remember the gas station by us at around $.89/gal. There was Exxon a little further up the road for $1.10/gal and I couldn't believe anyone would pay that much for gas lol
