And to be clear, I’m not saying they don’t taste good. They do. But so do corn and potatoes after you cook them the same way.

Put another way, if you grill a good steak with zero seasoning, it will still taste pretty good. Eat a plain crawfish tail with zero seasoning, no sauce, etc, and pretty much everyone will agree the experience wasn’t particularly pleasant.

And yet, people pay steak prices to eat crawfish.

Throw in some yard games or cards and a baseball game where the Tigers win to finish it off and man…it doesn’t get much better.

One of my great memories is playing bourre around the table with the old people, listening to the LSU game in the background.

I still remember the bright floral wallpaper and the pea green sofa.

Shrimp? No. Never as spicy. Crabs? Probably, yes, because of the amount of "fat" when you tear off the carapace.

You're trying to argue that crawfish are overrated from fricking Chattanooga Tennessee? Yeah, I would agree those would be overrated.

Prime rib is disgusting meat sponge and is the least appetizing of all beef varieties. The fact that it's called "prime rib" despite not actually having to be USDA prime grade beef should clue you in that you're being sold a bill of goods.
